I called the Victoria PD who told me to report these calls to my own local PD. From that point, there is supposed to be a follow up from my local PD to Victoria who should take the matter into its hand from that point. Tip given to me by the Victoria PD dispatch when I called them directly on sunday morning december 2nd 2012.

Verified with PC Financial (1-866-246-7262) that 416-855-8111 is not a scam call but a monthly credit reporting service provided by PC Financial. When they called me, I declined the service because the fee was .99 + tax per month, which I thought was too high. They are trying to bait you into receiving the free credit report for the first month trial but you will have to call into cancel it.

They called twice and left a message that they are from CRA. They said that they have a time sensitive matter that they would like to discuss. I called them back on the number they provided. (705 530 9525)
They picked up the phone (had a heavy accent) and answered "This is Canada Revenue Agency, how may I help you?"
I answered that I work for law enforcement agency and I don"t see their number listed anywhere on CRA, why is that?
They hung up on me.

I have been called by these people twice and this is a different number but the same thing. It"s unnerving. The first time they called me was the night that a loved one was dying and I was emotionally distraught. They called me trying to advertise something about computers and I just simply hung up. I was not in the mood for it tell marketer call. They called straight back and the woman on the line so that was extremely rude Kama said that I did not have to do that, said that they do not appreciate my attitude and when I try to tell them to please leave me alone I"m going through a hard time because I I only want to spend time with my loved one they hung up on me. Then they called me another time harassing me one more time. Got the same call today and all I said was I am not interested and they didn"t say anything only hung up. This phone call makes me feel sick to my stomach and I don"t know who or what it is. I tried telling my local police department but they haven"t done anything about it. Maybe something will be done now that I shared here. I think the other number which I have blocked is this one. 817-202-8107. They sounded Arabic or some other culture. I don"t know I just know it made me feel uncomfortable and after the second call and the rude remarks I had an emotional breakdown. So please if anybody can find out what"s going on with this and get these people to at least stop harassing others that would be terrific.
