Got a call from this number at 12:14am Toronto time. I didn"t pick up as I"ve never seen the area code before and decide to look it up on google first. Voice mail was left indicating that its an Officer Greg Williams with a thick Indian accent and indicated how I should call him back immediately. It is a scam and needs to be reported to Canadian Anti-fraud Centre (CAFC) by calling 1-888-495-8501.
I can not believe these people exist and they should be reported immediately and sent back to wherever they came from.

They called me and left a voicemail. The VM was a recording of someone saying that I, or my lawyer MUST return their call immediately. I called back and the guy told me it was CRA. he asked me to spell my name and then said he needs my SIN number so that he can pull up my case file so that he can let me know why they called. I said, sorry I am not giving you my SIN number (At this point I had a pretty good feeling it was a scam) he said, "Well, I cant pull up your case file until you give me your SIN". I said, well too bad then I guess I will just hang up now, And he asked what my email is, I said "why do you need my email address?" And this is where it gets real interesting he starts cusring me out in the most vulgar way. he says "you piece of Sh*T Cu*t, Mother F*cker, f*ck you etc etc then he hangs up...

I received a call this evening from this number. I let it go to voicemail as I was out for dinner. I listened to the message afterwards and figured it was a scam. I decided to check on the internet, and, voilà, as I suspected, it is a scam. I will report it to the CRA on Monday.
