I called the Grande Prairie non emergency Police number to ask directly if this was a scam and they confirmed that this number and person are a scam, the lady said if anyone does give them money that you will be provided the Fraud number to report to. Usually perpetrated by Nigerians. One of the tell tale signs that it"s a Nigerian scam is the name they give. Almost always, the name will be 2 regular first names. Examples - David James or Michael Lloyd or Steven Mathews and in this particular case "Greg Williams". If you care to entertain yourself, there are some excellent youtube videos of people calling the scammers back and taking them for lengthy rides before causing the scammer to go into full-mental meltdown. Quite hilarious :) Blocked the number. I urge you to do the same.
