I am pleased to say that I will soon be picked up and sent off to jail for a federal crime. I can"t wait. I told the guy that "although he might be a different department in the Government seeing I owe all this money one call to the right department in the CRA and they will give you all the information you need to get the money I owe. If not call me back and I will let you know where you can send Billy Bob the County Sheriff to pick my a*s up and take me to the slammer. Oh and while you are at it why don"t you let him know where you are so he can pick you up at the same time and" The guy hung up on me. Gee I guess he thought I was trying to keep him on the line to trace the call. I wasn"t I was just having fun with these people that end up having to make a living doing such a crappy job. I am sure very few of them actually like it. But I am sure that they can"t afford not to do it. I feel sorry for them. I do not feel sorry for the AHoles that are making them do it. Those are the ones should be thrown in a sound proof box with nothing but recordings of scam calls blasting at them 24 hours a day.

this person called claiming to be from the CRA and demanded 76 for GST owing. He said a criminal law suit had been filed against me as I had not paid this amount and i was committing fraud. He wanted me to buy a federal voucher card at 7/11 and then meet someone to submit the card to them. he gave me a case number that was also bogus. he threatened me with a ,000 fine from the CRA if I did not comply. I told him I would have to ask my accountant about teh amount owing. He told me that i did not need to talk to the accountant and to not hang up.

Just received the call also. It came up on my phone with the letter V and a bunch of numbers. They left an automated message to call back at 613 703 7691.
The voicemail said it"s the second and last attempt they are making to have me pay a tax bill and I"ve committed a federal offense. If I don"t call and make payment arrangements I"ll be... I deleted the voicemail at this point.

CRA scam; active number. I called and stated I would report them, they hung up. What is interesting is , try connecting to the Anti Fraud centre 1888 495 9501 to report the issue........this just takes you around a loop where they suggest you contact CRA for guidance; they state 1800 959 9281 and it should be (8281) The real CRA does not want to know and suggests you connect with the Anti Fraud Squad. Go figure.....provincial legislation AT ITS BEST !! The 613 number is active BUT there is no one to call and let them know that it is an active number. Probably a number that changes every hour and links up to yet another telephone exchange which cannot be traced easily. Our legislative systems seem to suggest that they want to help BUT are actually not functional to make a difference. ; so frustrating when you spend time to assist hunting down these scam artists ! The system in its antiquated measures, make a fool out of all of us and the scam artists continue their scam without consequences.

They called me last week and told them you guys are fraud and send me a legal notice my lawyer will reply to you, they hung up after intimidating me, had a na experience in the past while dealing with another fraud call from enmax / electric supply at the weekend on a extremely cold day saying they will disconnect my service immediately if I haven"t paid withing next three hours and when I asked them for mode of payment they asked me to buy a cash card, my head knocked me that these guys are making me stupid from last twently minutes, Well tranied
