Got the same call today at my home number in Winnipeg from this number...east indian accent, obvious he"s reading a script and he said his name was Officer Jason White...blah blah blah stating I needed to call him back b/c of federal charges against me. How foolish does this person think we are as Canadians?...We don"t live in fear! We aren"t scared of an "officer" calling us so we jump to call back. It was obviously a scammer but it makes me sick that he can call and impersonate a federal agent.....we all are responding to the same number, cant something be done about this ...really. I think of the elderly or a new Canadian who might not understand that this does not happen in Canada and then be at the mercy of this jerk. It is absolutely disgusting. What can we do besides irritating the hell out of the guy?
