Pretends to be calling from MediCare

Very nice Hispanic lady called me today and said she was with Home Health Agency. I asked if she was calling from NB, she said that was where Home Health Care was located. I was amused and bored at the time, so I played along. Her company as I found out , helps you get braces and other needed equipment from Medicaid.. I told I was interested and gave her my information (slightly incorrect).. She documented all I gave her and said I would be contacted within 40 minutes for final processing. I waited in delightful glee, 35 minutes passed and a delightful man with thick Indian accent named "BRUCE" called. We processed all my paperwork, it took us along time, I"m very forgetful and dimwitted.. After about 20 minutes he was quite exasperated, but the paperwork was almost complete and all was needed was my social security number. But I was hesitant to give it out, such is me! He offered to send it to final processing without it, I agreed. He had such a problem transferring me on and I felt so sorry for "BRUCE". It took along time, but he suggested that I be transferred to his regional manager and they could finish my processing and final approval. I was transferred to a very sweet and quiet lady named "EMILY" her english was much better and her accent wasn"t that thick at all.. We had a delightful talk about the company she worked for in NB, I asked about her family and the local area. She was so nice, I finally asked about the weather as I was looking for my ssn#(remember my mind is terrible at my age). She told me it was 98°very hot and rainy. I told her I was confused, 98 degrees hot and rainy was off weather for New Brunswick which should have been in the 60"s and windy this time of year. But I added was the normal weather for Mombi, India. All of a sudden Emily got mad and started saying words in another language, swore at me and hung up" BRUCE" called me back within 2 minutes. I apologized and said I couldn"t understand what I could have said to his regional manager EMILY. He said it was okay, but still needed my ssn# to process my account. I said fine as.I had my card in hand. I just had one last question. He inquired what could it be after so long on the phone. I asked why a company in Canada was using a call center in India to process claims in the United States for Medicaid.. He was shocked at my question and asked why I thought New Brunswick was in Canada and not the United States. I told him the 506 area code was for NB a Canadian Providence not the city in Georgia..He got mad and said I was uneducated and an old fool. He was hanging up and putting me on his " DO NOT CALL LIST" I would never receive any help to ever get any American Government benifits. Needless to say I was shocked and mortified to be treated this way. Did I mention at the begining I was BORED !!! and retired,

Medicaid insurance scam..

Very nice people who helped me to get my braces without paying anything , Dont judge guys they are a company and the dont force anybody to do anything ,

I went ahead with the scam and fed them BS information, they told me they would call me back in 40 minutes to complete the transaction.
They actually called back in the 40 minutes and then the Indian guy who"s name of course is "Bruce", said he was about to transfer me to the "verification" department.
He had a hard time getting ahold of that "department". Sounded more like he couldn"t get ahold of the other scammer.
I was finally transferred to an actual English speaking woman who then went on to say that she was going to process my braces. I then stopped acting dumb and called her out on the scam. She denied it of course and said she worked for a company called home health.
They can"t even keep the scam right...

No one on the line when I answered

Scammer called today to try to get elderly mother to buy knee/back braces on a phishing expedition, using our landline number.

Know no one in NB Canada and did not answer.

Scammer

offering a free medical help system, and comments,000 in grocery vouchers.

Caller ID MiraMichi NB. Called several times March 22, did not leave message.

Also called me. I called the dr. about this and they said it was Not A Scam. Doctor said it was from medicare

Block this number

Heavily accented man claimed to be all in for Medicare. Told him when I hit the age when I"m eligible for Medicare I would call Medicare. He then asked if I had supplemental insurance besides Medicare, I hung up. Called the number back out of curiosity and my call was rejected.
