Ontario 2012. Construction company, jwt construction. Hired a nice young man who claimed to have all the proper credentials. They do NOT! They took my deposit, and we"re rare to show up. Started the job strong, but after a week were only coming by for a few hours at a time, 2-3 times a week. We also speculate that the owner, who also did the job, was showing up intoxicated, and on drugs! Finally our bathroom was hacked together and they demanded the rest of the money. They made sure I didn"t get permits, as they are not listened, and I now know...don"t know the first thing about actually doing the requird work. Now I have a leaky bathroom, with high end installation damaged products. I"m now paying a professional to do the job again. I should have known not to hire a contractor from kijiji.
