Called asking for specific Safety Data Sheets, but came across as more of a data fishing call. Asked for full names of people in charge of SDS, my name, our job titles, verified our address and fax number, and they"ll have my email when I send them our SDS. A male voice left the message and I called back. A man without introducing himself started asking personal information such as full name, postal code, years of filing taxes, yourself or with accounting. When I asked him why I should give him my personal information without hearing who is he and why Canada Revenue Agency filed a lawsuit against me without reaching me out before filing a lawsuit and that please provide me with the paper where I can read all conditions and content, he introduced himself, told me not to interrupt him and said that for today my balance owing is ,000 and if I do not want to pay it, in the court it will be ,000. Moreover, my driving licence will be cancelled and all my insurance benefits as well and that my employment terminated. I said I am currently logged into my CRA account and the balance owing is .00. So, if he does not want to provide me with the link or email the materials to the email or address on my file of CRA, we will meet in court :) People, be careful, do not panic and do not give personal information. He sounded very pushy.
