I got call from that number and because I have a new home and lots of service guys are coming I was confused and we made an appointment. What I did not like, that the guy was talking too fast and did not hear half from what I was saying to him. In two days it was another call from different number and the girl was confirming the appointment. Than I realized that they used my home phone, which I did not give anyone AT ALL! I was scared. Said they were from a company who tries to stop kids from doing hard drugs, but also asked me if I support marijuana legalization, and told me that drug dealers hang around playgrounds and "colour drugs to look like candy" to "lure in kids" etc which is bogus anyway they wanted a donation and I hung up on them. This number was used in a Canada Revenue Agency Scam call. The suspects threatened arrest and fines for unpaid taxes to the victim and directed him to buy prepaid cards. Be wary of these scammers and take the time to check all information first. Canada Revenue Agency will not ask you for prepaid cards, bitcoins or wire transfer funds.
