A man came to our door and told us he was doing an "environmental" survey. Said he had just 3 questions. It was about air quality in our town. I thought it was for the city or something and agreed. We do have a "do not solicit" sign on our door but because he wants selling anything.. Or appeared to be at the moment, I didn"t think it was a big deal. He said that every person who finished the survey would be entered into a draw to win 0. I should have known something was up then but gave my number anyways. Silly me, next day a young woman called and said because of doing the survey I had won a "daily prize"... Hmmmm... Ok.... She said that someone would come and drop it off later that night and wondered what time I would be home. I asked what the prize was and she said it was a 3 nights stay at a list if chosen hotels. I questioned her further and she said the only thing was that a young man would come and show me a new product they were working on. It was an air purifier. She said he would just have to plug it in and show me how it works and I would get the prize. I told them I didn"t have a lot of time and she assured me it would not take over 10 mins... So silly me again, I agreed. They were late for the appointment and I was annoyed at myself for agreeing... I have a two year I needed to put to bed. The poor young man showed up with like 3 huge suitcases. I asked about the length of the presentation and he said it would take longer then 10 mins. When I said I wasn"t interested and didn"t need the gift he said he had to call his boss and I would have to tell his boss I wasn"t interested. The guy on the phone " Chris" was a total a*s€£%#... He guilt tripped me about the poor presentation guy having to drive over and that they didn"t cover his gas money. He basically made me feel like I was losing money for him. He went on about the kids commission and that I was wasting hils time... He totally blamed me for the whole thing and I was so pissed off!!!! Never ever ever answer this number!!!!!
