This number is a scam from India, they are a call center that is pretending to be Revenue Canada and claiming you owe them money. I called it twice to dig a little deeper. They will immediately ask you for your name to "look up your file", if you give them a fake one they don"t know what to do so they hang up. None the less either don"t call back or ignore completely. Rest assured Rev Can does not come after you this way.

CRA Scammer telling me that either myself or my attorney must call as there are serious charges against me. I have had several of these calls. CRA does not call and leave threatening calls as I used to work for them. If you ignore them, eventually they will go away or simply block them. Word has to get out that this is all a scam. I can"t believe that people fall for it. If you are not sure if it is a scam, call the CRA 800 number and they will check for you.

On August 31, 2018 I made a fairly detailed comment about my experience with the CRA scam and included the names and numbers of 2 individuals. Another name you need to be aware of is someone who claims to be Robert Shaw, this complete piece of s**t claims to be a CRA investigator, officer, agent or whatever.
Also because I got a call from Michael Ray who claimed to work for H+R Block shortly after the call from Paul Lambert and Robert Shaw from a legitimate H+R Block number which is located on 17th AVE who claimed he was going to take care everything makes me wonder if a past or current employee is somehow involved in this scam. H+R Block were the last ones to do my taxes., coincidence, maybe maybe not..
Final note for now, Paul Lambert and Robert Shaw I think is the same douche bag (foreign accent of some kind, at times sounded even maybe French), Michael Rays voice was different, very well spoken in English with no accent of any kind.
