They pretend to be microsoft support and will ask to access to your computer to remove malware.
Its a scam! They have an indian accent. Be aware. They also ask you to call back their number, and they answer as microsoft support and pretend to forward your call the the technican.

Microsoft will never call for this.

The caller said he was from our IT department, and he was getting error messages from our computers. He asked me to turn them on and he will Troubleshoot them. I laughed and told we have a in-house IT guy, I"ll call him and have him call you because I know he is full of it. He gave me this number and said you got to believe me call the number back. The number he called from and the number he gave me did not match either. Number he called from Razni Dhanda 512-712-6579, number he gave me was 604-484-1936 name Matthew.

i fully agree with comment of 8, Oct. 2014. i did not call back and will not call this number. Besides no respectable company will call around 07:40 am BC time, 10:40 QC time unless there is an emergency.

I just had the same event as you guys !!!

the guys pretend to work for microsoft and have a Strong indian accent,
I had the same call by the same guys 3 years ago and he got me.
He made me use team viewer to acces my computer and "repair" some [***].

This time i knew he was a fraud and i played along with him.
He gave me the same phone number : 604-484-1936
He said his name is Alex Thomas and he wanted to remove spyware, malware from my computer.

I really want to know how this guy got my phone number and i want him under arrest
plz tell me what can be done to stop him

I received a call alleging that my computer operated on a Microsoft system and was showing error messages. The caller claimed to be from ITT Tech or some name like that. His Indian accent was strong. He gave me this number to call him back when I told him I prefer to contact him later. When I asked him what kind of computer I had, he said he was calling about my desk top or my laptop. When I asked him what brand of computer I had, he said he was caling about my HP computer. I have never owned an HP computer. He tried to answer each of my question by repeating the lines from his script in hopes that I"d be satisfied and give up asking questions. If the scammers read this comment, at least they"ll know more about the weaknesses in their approach. Cheers!
