The call came in today around noon - a grandparent scam. The caller said "Grandma" and then asked for "Grandpa Bruce." We repeatedly asked his name, and he kept saying "your oldest grandchild." He said "Grandma doesn"t recognize my voice." He finally said his name was Michael (we have no grandson named Michael), and when asked what his problem was, he launched into a big explanation about being in a traffic accident, in trouble, in jail, having been to "John"s wedding," that he was drunk. Grandpa Bruce told him that was a lesson not to drink any more and that we would be hanging up. The caller then hung up.
