The lady said "Our company is doing window work in your area and we vwould like to know if you would be interested..." I interrupted her and asked where she got my phone number from. She answered: "From the system".
I told her to remove my phone number from their system and that I would file a complaint with the CRTC if I ever receive another phone call from them. This was the 2nd phone call from this company.
Telemarketing calls have increased considerably since my phone number has been registered in the National Do Not Call List (DNCL). I wonder if telemarketers use the list as "validated numbers" to call (valid phone numbers that belong to real people).
