Yeah, same story, Received a call from "James May" of Top Gear fame. Started of immediately with treats of arrest and lawsuits. Based on that, it was easy to detect as scam. When I confronted him, and told him to stop wasting time, he told me to "f**k off" and hung up. :)

Literally got the same call from the same number at the exact same time.... I don"t pickup numbers that I do not know, so I googled the number to see if it was linked to something stupid and behold, it is. Most likely some sort of Bell Promotion thing. Why they have the right to just phone me up like that is beyond me. Should be illegal and I"m pretty sure Canada has some kind of law that prevents companies from ringing me for no reason. so here"s the trick:
create a ringtone of 1 second of silence and upload it to your phone.
create a contact in your phone book (mine is called sh_t), add the number (i have a lot of them) to that contact, assign "no vibrate", and select a custom ringtone (silence). Voila, you only know when they call when you see it...no biggie.

Just ignore it. Because it is just a scam. Never call them back. Never trust such a call from anyone any phone number, as all of them try to make you feel that you did something wrong, then you"re gonna be arrested, or in a big legal trouble if you disregard the phone call. Devil guys! The legal stuff ONLY comes through mailbox. If you"re still in doubt, call the Canad Revenue Agency, ONLY through the phone number you can find on your "Notice of Assessment" and ask about your status.
