This number started calling my house and as others have said, it doesn"t have that distinctive squeal but we"re pretty sure it is a fax. Eventually my phones developed a static buzzing sound when I was on a call. I had a Bell tech in to repair and was told that the "fax" had crossed my line and destroyed my phone.
