This number called saying it was the CRA and I had a warrant and that they would seize my property... which I don"t own :) It was voicemail, so not the real CRA but a scam.

Called back, great pressure about a fake debt. SCAM-even threats, don let them scare you is a SCAM !, hang out or tell them you are recording the phone call and that you will submit the recording to the authorities.

Automated call telling me that I was under arrest and that there was a search warrant out for me. Since the CRA can"t issue warrants I listened and hung up when the message was over. The voice also said that they were going to seize all my property.

2018-02-05 You can tell it is income tax time again. These idiots start calling around this time every year. Yeah right !!! CRA is going to call with a recorded message (bad accent too) and NOT give you a 1-800 number to call back. Absolutely NOT !!!! Don"t let these idiots fool you and DON"T CALL THEM BACK!!
