This number is indeed from a collection agency. I got a new cell phone with a new cell number and the previous user owed money. I called the number back from my landline and they were great. I explained the situation, they apologised and removed me from the auto dialler. I don"t have an issue with the company, I have an issue with the jerk who didn"t pay his bills.

initial call is a voice message to call back saying that someone has filed a lawsuit with Revenue Canada against you and that you are to call back at that number. They almost imply that the number is your case file. Once you call, they will ask you for all types of personal info to "confirm" you are who you are. Even if at that point you realize you are being scammed and hang up, they will continue to call you. They will even use different numbers to do this. I repeat, DO NOT CALL BACK THAT NUMBER.
