I received a call.from. ‭+1 (604) 293-8700‬ and I didn"t answer it as I did not recognize the.number. They left a voicemail stating they are from Fortis BC some c**p about my account. I deleted the message a few blocked them. Fortis BC doesn"t call you and ask you for payments over the phone. It"s a scam.

Yeah, it"s the real FortisBC number, as listed on their site as well. Called me when I forgot an online payment. Kinda think the people calling this a scam number are probably just ducking their bills. Let it show on your credit report so your future landlords know that you"re a deadbeat.

We have been receiving phone messages from Fortis saying we owe them money ( I don"t recall the number they were calling from). Today, this number called but didn"t leave a message.

Our business does not have natural gas nor does it have any hydro yet they think we have some account with them. I sure hope they disconnect us so that the phone calls would stop.

I would be suspicious of this number. It doesn"t seem legitimate to me.

They called me yesterday. I know this is Fortis BC number, but yesterday, the caller has very thick accent. He ask for some payment, immediate payment! Maybe this is what called "spoofing" number? I just tell them that I will call him back, and just hung up. I know that I don"t owe anything to Fortis BC.

Didn"t pick up the phone, but as other people said, if the caller requires the immediate payment then that is definitely a scammer. My Fortis BC account has the auto payment option.
