Hey I have the best solution as I keep getting the calls.
1. find out the address of your local police station
2. when they call go through the process as if you are buying the package
3. refuse to give any personal information other than to book an appointment, give them a fake name and the address to the police department.
That way you waste their time and cost them some time and money!!!!!!! Have a little fun with them for a change!

This number called my phone this afternoon. I didn’t answer it so the caller left a text message. I did a reverse look-up and found out it"s located in Oakville, Ont. and is managed by Fido Solutions, Inc. Folks, this is a phishing scam! The text message starts “Your online Scotia service account has been temporarily suspended for security reasons. . .” and it provides a link to a website instructing you to log in. Many of us can guess what happens then! Since I do not have such a thing as an ‘online Scotia’ account, I simply deleted the message. I"ve seen this kind of phishing attempt in many of its various incarnations in my e-mail inbox; this is the first phishing attempt that has been made to my cell number.
