Called and said there was a warrant against me and a lawsuit was being filed. IT was a recording. I have 4 phone lines to my company and they"ve called all 4, sometimes its some heavy mid-eastern accent sometimes its a recording.

These guys are a huge SCAM almost gave me a heart attack, they said that I owed revenue Canada and that a warrant for my arrest was issued, and it will not be able to be canceled unless I paid in less than 45 minutes.
these guys waited to call, until the RCMP office was closed this way if you called the RCMP there was no possibility to confirm the names of the officers. Real well played but at the end they ask you to pay with a certain credit card. I gave them a couple of good words of mine, and hang up.. be careful check the phone numbers in internet and breath..

Call went to voicemail. A computerized voice said there was an arrest warrant issued for me and that if I did not call back they would come arrest me. Obviously some sort of scam.

I received calls twice from these scammers on same date above (May 22, 2018). I noticed I have received these calls a few days later and I checked them here. Not sure if they left VM. There are many mysteries for me. For one these guys have a number displayed so why it cannot be easily traced by RCMP and arrested? I mean all of us when we open an account with whatever phone company we have to give our email and other personal info right? And second how do they know our number. I mean our phone company cannot pass on our info to anyone or at least this is my understanding.
