I received a call from this number today but I was unable to answer on time so I had to call back. When I called back I was told to please hold for the first available agent and once the agent came on the phone I was told it was from National Money Mart.
I did owe them some money and they were calling to inquire as to when I would pay but the problem was I had already paid. I had gone in person to pay at the local branch since there had been a problem with my bank account and I had to close it. The lady on phone was quite nice I explained to her my situation also explained to her that I had proof that I had gone into make the payment. She instructed me on where I could fax the proof of payment to. I told her I didn"t have access to a fax but I could scan and email she said that it would have to be via fax and suggested I go back to the branch where I made the payment and have them fax it for me. All in all it was a pleasant conversation and dealt with professionally.
Like all collections as long as you call in with a good attitude have your facts straight and any evidence to back it up and you are respectful you will in turn get the same.

This is the second time they have called. The first time I couldn"t understand what they were saying and asked them not to call but they"d hung up on me. I was on the Do Not Call list.
