All she would say is that they provide medical equipment and were responding to a survey I supposedly completed. (No way!). When I asked to be removed from the call list, she hung up. Even though the call display said Coast Health, I am pretty sure she said Coastal Health, which is confusing because it is similar to the name of a B.C. health region. This is an unsolicited sales call that calls people - even those on the Do Not Call registry.

Faxes I get via 613-248-3733 come from "YOW Canada Inc.", marketing online training courses. Their address is 1306 Algoma Road, Ottawa, K1B 3W8. They give their toll free number, 866-688-2845, and their own fax 613-248-0711. To get off their fax list we"re supposed to call 866-798-9890 and provide the fax number we want them to delete. YOW Canada is probably just one of this faxing service"s clients.

They call my cell phone periodically. They also call the house phone number also. Both phone numbers have been on the DO NOT CALL Registry for quite a while. Well when someone answers, they just hang up, and other times, no one answers. The message used to have an option to remove your number from the list. But I still get the calls. Although this number is listed on 411.ca and should belong to someone named Ron Roberge, I have serious doubts about it as the call started with an automated message, in chinese. Not having any idea what was the message saying, I decided to press number 1 which lead me to a lady, however when I asked her if she could speak French or English, she simply hung up. As of now I don"t have much info to determine what this call was about but overall it looks suspicious.

They Identified themselves as telus, hey where calling about on if my business lines. They asked me my birthday and all my billing info claiming they where calling to confirm an upgrade to my phone system they where planning on doing. However soon as I hung up I remembered I had never given that number. How they got that number made me uneasy and they fact that I gave them all my billing info, and called back and it was out of service. I am really worried this wasn"t someone trying to get my info so they could commit fraud against me. A few days earlier I had to cancel one of my cards because it had been compromised and had been maxed out in a matter of a month. I imminently checked all my cards of unknown activity requested a credit report and signed up for credit protection. might be a bit overkill but if you let con artists max out all your credit and destroy your credit rating it could literally ruin your life. specially if you work for yourself and rely on your credit file.
