Called me saying he was from the IRCC, and that there were charges filed against me with the Toronto Police. Told me I would be either arrested or deported. When I asked him to send me an email from his official email account with details of these so-called charges, he said he couldn"t do that. When I told him there was no way any charges had been filed against me, he asked me to open a private investigation if I didn"t want to be deported. This made no sense and so I hung up on him telling him not to call me again.

Rcvd a call this AM Jan 25th at 9:00am Mountain Standard Time (I am in Alberta). Display said the number was 613-860-1370 out of Ontario. I rejected the call and they left a voicemail. The voicemail says this is the 2nd attempt to reach me and that I have failed to appear before the magistrate. I face jail time if I do not return the call. Ive never had a call from this number before. Glad I googled it, and confirmed it is a scam, though I was pretty sure it was before hand.
