This is definitely scam. First you receive an automated call, the machine says it"s a call from Canada revenue Agency about an issue with your tax file, and if you don"t call them back, you will get arrested.
I knew it"s scam, I called them through GOOGLE (be careful, DO NOT call them through your phone, because your phone will be billed hundreds of dollars) and gave them wrong info about myself. I even gave them wrong first name and Last name. The asshole on the line told me there is a case under my name, and I misinformed CRA my income. So I have 2 options: 1) fight against CRA and go to the court and if I don"t win, I need to pay ,000 and get arrested 2) pay off the balance I owe (00).
After 20 minutes discussion, I told him I gave him false info and I knew he is not from CRA :)))))))))
it was fun :)))))))))))))
