The guy had an Indian accent and didn"t even say what company he was with. He asked if I minded taking a one minute survey about smoking. He asked if I was a smoker, I said no. He asked if I had allergies. I said no. He asked if I had any cats or dogs, I said yes. He asked what my husband and I did for a living and how long we"d been at our jobs. Received a call from this number one evening. They wanted to remove our currently leased water heater and replace it with one of their high efficiency models. They actually said they would return the one i am currently leasing to the provider. They claimed my current provider was a US based company and that they should have replaced the heater with a higher efficiency model. They were able to give me my current Hydro One account number to authenticate themselves. I was then transferred to the verification department. This company says that they are a Windows computer company, authorized by Microsoft, that has monitored my PC and found that it is infected with a virus. I"ve had the same problem as you. There is only 2 options that you have 1st is notify the police (phone harassment is a real crime), 2nd one is to contact your telephone company and they will block this number from SMSing you.
