I made a video of me getting the voice message, looking up your site and then calling the number. The first guy lost his guts right away. I called back a second time and said "you said you"d have me arrested?" so, as I predicted, he asked for my name (pretended his desk was covered in papers I guess lol) and so I said, "You tell ME, you"re the one who called me" and then he hung up lol. I DEMAND to get better scammers! These guys suck at it lol. Dunno if I should call the police or if they"re swamped with calls about it since I saw it on CP24 a week or two ago. Dunno if it"s the same outfit but it was a scam using the name of the CRA.

the caller asked for a specific person, but I couldn"t catch the name due to his accent, when I tried to explain he had the wrong number, he wouldn"t stop talking long enough to listen, he just went on to tell me he had a great deal on duct cleaning in my "area". I told him I don"t have any ducts and to stop calling. I told him, I"ve asked to have my number removed from his calling lists, but I keep getting them. This is very clearly a scam. Do not answer and especially do not reply to them -- they will leave a threatening voicemail. Mine said there was an ongoing court case and an arrest warrant will be issued if I do not respond.
Note that if the government, a court of law, or the CRA (or other entity) had something serious to contact you about they would not call you from some arbitrary, unlisted number -- they have other ways of contacting you, usually through the postal system.

call saying I had won a prize from Canadian Tire, to dial 1 if interested. Then, exactly like the other comments, passed to someone who started the hard sell. Told me they had gotten my number from WetJet. Then kept asking if I had a credit card, kept changing his story, got me to check the Karisma Hotels website, and then told me that the vacation had a 00 value and that the "prize was for 00, so when I asked how it could be a "free" vacation, if I would have to pay, he kept talking over me, saying he would get to that in a minute. When I told him I was on a no call list, and asked for the company information to file a complaint, he got very hostile and started getting verbally abusive. I hung up.
