I know it"s a scam. I called back to waste their time. they think they have a live one :). the more time they spend with me, the less time they can try to scam someone else. Could hear a lot of other callers in the background. One even was saying go to the bank and don"t tell anyone why you are there. keep cell phone on and in your pocket- so sad!! could hear a lot of yelling including the guy I was talking to. was irritated and raised his voice. Claimed RCMP were on way to arrest me. Then asked me to look up the local RCMP number. When I said I couldn"t, he gave me a number that will call me (it"s in Alberta). I"m in Ontario ha ha let them come arrest me. So he is setting up his phone with that number. Not sure if you can spoof a legit number so expect a call back from him. He is so frustrated that he doesn"t have answers to my questions - not able to read from his script I guess

Thickly accented scammer calling repeatedly saying "we have a job for you." They keep calling even though they were told to stop. They provide no details about the bogus job - they want you to attend their office for a high pressure sales pitch. These are not real jobs - do not waste your time. It is commission-only garbage, with no salary or benefits.
They go by the name BSP Concept in Montreal and CGR Concept in Ottawa - they also use a variety of other names. They lift the phone numbers from job sites like Monster or Workopolis - probably sign up under a fake name to get access to these databases. They pulled the same stunt about a year ago. This time they changed all their phone numbers and are at it again. They use automatic robo-dialers to dial the same numbers again and again repeatedly. They are sleazy cretins who will not remove the numbers from the robotic auto-dialing, even when instructed to stop.
If your resume is on Monster or Workopolis and these idiots call, report them to Monster or Workopolis. You can also report them to the CRTC anti-spam site, or Do-Not-Call list if you are on that list. Again, do not waste your time with these idiots and their phony jobs.

Called and pretend to be a Purolator guy, the guy had a lot of difficulty speaking in english. Although, i"m not very good in english, I could tell. He said that my computer was infected with virus. ( I have no virus, and I"m using a Mac computer).
I had nothing to do with Purolator since last year. This is the same thing that all do, saying they can fix the virus from distance with, of course, a little amount taken from your credit card.
I wish, somebody could punish those ... cause he apparently manage to use a phone number already used from some ordinary people close to Québec.

Debt collection scam run by Commercial Credit Adjusters (CCA) Limited based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada that have telemarketing/scam centres in various Canadian provinces. They are either trying to collect ficticous debts or the debts of a third party that have nothing to do with you. CCA leaves vague messages to get you to call them back at their real phone numbers of 1-866-958-5850 or 1-204-958-5850 , but they call from a variety of different phone numbers to hide their identity -- possibly using caller ID spoofing.
According to the CRTC: Telemarketers who make calls to Canadians are required to accurately identify themselves and their client. Telemarketers who use technology to spoof their Caller ID information with inaccurate, false or misleading information violate this requirement. Each violation of the Unsolicited Telemarketing Rules can lead to fines up to content,500 per violation for an individual and ,000 per violation for a corporation.
If you suspect fraud, you can report it to your local police or the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre (1-888-495-8501), a national service jointly operated by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the Ontario Provincial Police and the Competition Bureau.
