Unbelievable I got a call today from this number saying if I don’t call back I would be arrested by the police because there a warrant for me ...... I did call back I was told I owed revenue Canada 88 and I could spend upto 5 years in prison, due to missing information on my taxes........ I almost got a heartattack I ended the call and call my wife immmediately she then call RCMP and realize it was a scam. Fake Canada Revenue scam. I always like talking with these guys to annoy them. I asked the woman I spoke with what their address was. She mispronounced the street name (no one local would) and gave me an address that is for a medical clinic. Then I asked her what the time was and she gave me a time that wasn"t local either. These robo calls are now rampant. I"m certain you receive countless complaints about this as well other such callers. It"s a DAILY annoyance by these people. When I picked up phone and said Hello like 4 times, I can hear them starting to speak so I hung up phone, if it was a legit call, they would have answered right away. I have been getting a ton of calls like these since the beginning of March, and they try with all different number, I end up having to block all of them. A couple of times they call and said they are from Microsoft, then they call a couple of weeks later and said they have a security proposal, they give you free this and free that, and then the famous duct cleaning scam. This is all a scam to rip people of their hard earned money. Just don"t pick up and research no. and block them
