This is the second call I"ve had, though the first time was from a different number - I called CRA to double check the first time, assuming this was a scam, and they confirmed it. CRA very rarely calls individuals, and when they do it is always a live employee.

Yes, this call comes from the southern Alberta region, most probably Calgary, so it should be easy enough for RCMP to trace and put an end to this. I have an alert on my phone that automatically identifies scam/fraud calls, so I didn"t answer and then blocked the number after listening to the message.. If you do answer this call, don"t engage. Hang up immediately and report the abuse.

I think this is a scam. I got a call saying this is he CRA and because I have not returned there automated voice call before they have put out a warrant for my arrest! I asked if I could go and pick up the affidavit that he said they attempted to deliver to me twice and he avoided answering. So I told him I would go to the police myself and get the info. He said that would be ok, then all of a sudden I hear music like he put me on hold and then the call ended! Something fishy here!!!
