Political poll about Alberta election. My complaint, it seemed impossible to hang up on the call for four minutes. No matter how long I left the phone on the hook, when I picked up again, the robo poll was still going though its script.

because of previous calls, I "played" with this one. I responded without really committing to anything until question 4 or 5, when my response resulted in the same question being asked 5 times before I changed my response, and the survey went on to the next question. If a poll is only as reliable as the questions asked & the answers given, if we "mess" with them, mess up their results, who"s going to hire them?

Yes it is a political poll survey which i have no problem answering. There are 2 significant problems with this one
1. regardless of how you answer question #1 (which party are you going to vote for).....the system records it as.......u are an undecided voter.
2. the phone number, call it back......it is actually a not for profit that is getting inundated with calls.......
How do we contact the company at the centre of this? I want to lodge a formal complaint!

its a research company calling to get info on who you"ll vote for, and also a topical question about your opinion on the wildrose party at the end they ask your gender and your vote in the last election.

this is normal and used in opinion polling that the media and various political organizations use a lot, no malice and its entirely automated
