The same happened to me yesterday. Received a call offering lower interest rate on my "Credit Card" We now have the number blocked. They call every day!!
What a scam! We do not answer the phone anymore unless we know who is calling.
These people should be legally charged with fraud.

Just got a call asking for Mr.George and when my husband said sorry you have the wrong number (because we aren’t the George family) the guy said “oh wrong number eh? Well F you then”.

More of the same happened to me today - Received a call from offering a lower interest rate on my "Credit Card" - When I asked which card they replied my TD Visa - (I don"t have a TD Visa)

Received a call from 780-525-8009..claiming that they were from Visa and Mastercard. .and could lower my interest rate to 5% for life because I"m making my payments on time.. I hung up..as far as I"m concerned only Visa and Mastercard can do that...not some scammer in India!
