This call says it is from the Canadian Taxpayers Federation. This is not a government agency - they are fighting government-set taxes and claiming the government cheats people out of huge amounts. They are looking for "donations" to pay for lawyers. I recommend we just approach our MPs on such matters, That"s their job and we don"t have to pay extra for it!

Tried to solicit 0.00. Claimed to be the independent watch dog responsible for uncovering the the overspending in the Senate by Pamela Wallin etc. Said they rely on people to contribute to continue their investigations. They said can we rely on you for 0.00 I said no and he said so you will contribute 0 dollars then or I mean 0.00 I said absolutely not. He then asked why, and I said I am not about to give some unknown source a large sum of money over the phone. The government steals enough of my money and I not about to let some scammer steal more!
