I have receieved multiple calls from this scam. It is a phishing expedition. Do not give out personal information to these people. Do not Call Back. Initial contact should not be a robo-call. the real CRA does not use Iristel Inc. to make phone calls on their behalf.

the message left was lacking in information -- just said this is "Officer David Ramirez" -- either myself or my attorney are to call the direct number 778-404-1758 -- apparently if one of us does not call back -- then "legal situation unfolds on you" -- but I am to "have a nice day"!
No idea what the legal situation could be about! You have a nice day too Officer Ramirez -- JERK!!

FRAUD: Called my Cell Phone July 18/18 at 8:31 am. No mention of who he was looking for, the person or company, ect. Recorded message in strong accent was "This is Canada Revenue Agency. The issue at hand is very time sensitive. The very second you receive this message I need you or your retained attorney to give me a call. This is Officer David Ramides. Our direct line number will be 778-404-1758. I repeat it"s 778-404-1758. Now do not disregard this message and do return the call. If I do not hear from you or your attorney either, the legal situation unfolds on you. Have a nice day. Good-by."

Same as Nancy, "Officer Ramirez" left a message on behalf of the CRA indicating the dire urgency of replying. Lol. Don"t think Revenue Canada operates like this - they call and correspond with you first, not getting a cop to call and threaten.

Received a call from an automated message from an "Officer Ramirez" and apparently is CRA calling. The CRA does not call in people. They send out notices. I called CRA and reported the call and was ensured that it would not be CRA calling. And they called on my cell phone which is an indication that it"s a scam right away.s
