The initial message indicated that I won 2600 air miles, I pressed one as instructed. The person who actually answered told me that the company name is "Vacations by Newport" and that I have won 00 towards a trip because I was an Air Miles customer. I asked to be removed from their list and I also told her that Air Miles did not have the number that they called.

automated message said I had won 2600 airmailes - press 1 to redeem so I did full well knowing it is a scam. waited on hold for 2 minutes then Anthony started to read his script. Asked him for his name, company name, and phone number. Asked where he was located - he said Florida. I asked why he was calling Canada and he said he is Canadian. Wanted to give me his speech so I kept asking for his phone number first. He tried to tell me that if I would listen to what he had to say first I may not need his phone number and asked if I understood him. I told him that he is being a d**k and that he clearly did not understand me. Then he played the whole " maam? maam are you there? maam i can"t hear you - hello? so I slammed the phone down several times. I believe he heard that!

Got a call from this number on my cell and almost answered as I do service work 2 miles down the road once a year.
