They left me a message which asks me to call them back. They do not say whom they are looking for and what the issue is, but I suspect it is a collection agency.

Left a message on the answering machine that they must be called back immediately because "time sensitive information" might result in "legal action against your name". Also said "Call us at CRA". Without a doubt, this is a scam.

It was a recorded message on my machine when I came home. It clearly started during my outgoing message because the recorded bit was mid sentence so I don"t know all it said. All I made out clearly was the phone number, a threat it was "time sensitive" to avoid legal action against "your name" and to call CRA. Clearly a scam since the police and CRA have warned us all that they do not attempt to communicate by phone.

Recorded voicemail claiming to be Revenue Canada. Called the number and spoke to an Alex Watson who said he wanted to :f*ck me. I asked how old he was and he said he was 21. I said I was retired. I then said he would be better off talking to the RCMP.

They said it was Inspector (something, accent was so think could not understand). He said it was CRA and dis I have a criminal lawyer. I needed one. I told him to call my account as hr deals with everything. He said he could not. I said call him. He told mento call him and call back and hung up.
