Just received this call on my cellphone. The recorded message said they were from Revenue Canada and an arrest warrant would be issued if the call was not returned. As I previously worked for CRA Investigations, I knew this was a scam so tried to call the number back to see what they had to say. My cellphone wouldn"t allow me to call back as it came from an overseas phone number, not the one on caller ID. CRA will NEVER contact you by phone, always be snail mail with a dedicated phone number, name and department. They will only call once the recipient has responded to the letter.

Automated message from the "CRA" saying I"ll be arrested if I do not call back. No information on lawsuit, no file number, nothing. It is a scam. Called CRA. Everything is in order. Do NOT respond to calls from 705-481-2787

Same thing, CRA wants money I supposedly owe them. They called twice, First time display said it was a Barrie # 705-481-2780 but they hung up after 1 ring, Then it robo-called right back and display showed same # but showed "RUSSIA". hmmm, just just India doing this now.
