I just had the same call. They listed 1-800-206-7218 as one of the numbers to contact them at (which is a number listed on Canada.ca for SIN), but phoned from and suggested more that you contact them at their land line 514-416-0686...sneaky scam!

They called my girlfriend and ask for her SIN number and when she refused to give them, they told him there were some suspicious activities on her social security number and officers coming to arrest you soon!
She called me and she was crying!
Swear god, if I catch them, I will broke their all bones in their body. Then they will have a long time in hospital to think about what they did! Swear!

From 514-416-0686, alternate #1-800-206-7218. Has anyone reported this number and scam to the CDN Anti Fraud Centre at 1-888-495-8501? I got a call from them too. Message said fraudulent activity on my SIN and bank accounts. Needed to call them to complete official reports for CRA and RCMP. Weird thing was, I just fell for a very sophisticated scam last Friday that took over 5 hours to complete. They gave me small amounts of information, told me to wait while they made phone calls on my behalf, and then called me back after making my wait long enough to get more frightened. Didn"t realize I"d been scammed until much later that day. Had to change all banking info, call Equifax, and CDN Anti Fraud centre. For a moment, I thought this was a follow-up call. So glad I googled the telephone number first. If you get a call like this, please call the CDN Anti Fraud Centre at the above number to report it.

Just got the same call as those above. The caller said he was a constable and my sin was being suspended for fraudulent activity and to call them at this number. I didn"t say a word just hung up and looked up the phone number. I"m going to also report this number to CRA.
