Said they were calling from the Saskatchewan Federation of Police raising money for. I said I don"t donate over the phone so they gave me a website to view. The website says they are soliciting for Elder Abuse. That is not what they told me. They told me they were looking for support for the publication for signs of violence against women and children.

The phone companies have some gall, they get paid by these companies to let them harass thier customers. Its just good business. We need legislation preventing telephone marketing or soliciting, and to be able to blacklist other contries who allow thier customers to telemarket us, here. Only then will we get what we, as customers, pay for... no nuisance calls. On that note, since all these telemarketers want to call us, why dont they pay for our phones, so they have a right to call us? because I DONT PAY FOR MY PHONE, TO BE HARASSED BY TELEMARKETERS !!!! you hear that sask tel?

I was hesitant to answer the call, but I did. I asked who was calling and he did give me his first and last names and said he was calling for some sort of fundraiser for police. I didn"t pay any attention and told him no thanks. End of call. I don"t believe he was a scammer. Just someone calling from a call centre. I wish they had to show their name on call display.

Called looking for money for the legion, they are telephone soliciting whores, calling for good causes but they get their cut when you make a donation, the caller even said , you can make your payment at the bank...making it seem all to legit.good causes are approached by these people to do fund raising, doesn"t cost the charity anything as it is all found money for them. We never donate to phone call solicitors

I just moved to this town. So new number. Calls began at the end of the first month I was here. No reply after saying hello. Calls at least once a month, no answer. About 7 months now.I avoid answering the calls, unless my kids answer it, of which they have been told not to. My kid answered today"s call, no answer as usual, so I grabbed phone, said hello and surprisingly a male replied, asking to speak to so and so. Said u have wrong number and when hung up, noticed it was that annoying number. Jeez! Weird people get a life. I think it"s a app, allowing people using it to hide behind this number or something. Am calling phone provider tomorrow to complain.
