Just had the same call at work. Called back the person tried to tell me his name was Richard Parker, Indian accent. Told him his wasn"t CRA and I was calling the RCMP (which I will do) and he hung up. so much noise in the background he pretended he couldn"t always hear me, wanted my name but asked for his instead...

Yes we got the same call as well. He called my husband and tell him that he will be arrested. so i called him back. he ask for name address and i gave him all wrong info. he told me i owe 89.89 for tax fraud from year 2011-2016. he told me to go court or settle outside of court. he ask how much money i have and i told him . than he place a call on hold and ask me to talk to higher position name Cody Smith Batch# 105962 i agree to settle outside of court. i also agree to give him 0 dollars. he ask me to go nearest store than call him for instruction. i told him i don"t have a phone than he ask me to go Fresh co. and buy a apple I tune gift cards worth of 0. i refuse to go store and ask him to meet me somewhere then i will give him cash $ 500 he didn"t agree and ask me if i want the police officer to come arrest me. i told him ok sent officer to arrest me. i will give him 0. i told that is the only option i have left. then he hang up the phone.
