"Tony Allen" with an obvious accent called from the "verification department of Visa and Mastercard" They offered to give me a "guaranteed" lower interest rate "for the rest of your lifetime". I played along with neutral "okay" noises everytime they asked me a question, until they asked for my date of birth when I refused and hung up.

a man with strong accent called to tell me he was going to lower my interest rates on my credit card from bmo for the rest of my life...i played along to hear what he had to say ....he then tells me i have a visa that he is going to offer the same 3.9 as opposed to the 195 i am paying now...scary part he knew the other card was in my husbands name who he got right....he asked my date of birth i told him he should have all that in front of him if hes going to offer those things to me.....i told him to send everything in the mail since he knew how much my interest rate was now he should have everything in front of him...he hung up
