Called at 6:15 am on Monday, Feb. 10, 2014. Male voice w/strong Indian or Pakastani accent. Caller said my computer was infected w/malware and that they had been calling me for 2 weeks (NOT!) I knew none of this was true so I terminated the conversation.

Just received 2 calls from this number telling me that there are serious problems with my computer and the Windows system. I told them I would call Windows directly. The 2nd call came within minutes of the first and this time the person said this is an urgent call about my computer. Are you kidding me why would I get a call from Ontario for my computer??? Both callers had Indian accents. These scams need to be stopped.

Usually they hang up when I tell them that I give their information to the police (which I have). This guy just kept going on and on about my computer having problems and that he"s a Windows technician. Have to notify the police again. This looks like a different number to previous calls.

Called my elderly mom claiming they were Microsoft and wanted to help her with the computer. Asked her to do all kinds of things on her computer so they could follow along and asked for all kinds. Of personal info. I was not home...this is very scary!

I"ve had these exact same calls as other posts. The first one, I went along, knowing this was a scam, to try & see what they wanted. During the call, I asked who they were calling for, the person"s name. They said my husband, who has nothing to do with my computer, but the phone is in his name. After I started questioning more, he became belligerent with me, calling me an idiot, and using the f word. I gave it right back to him & finally he hung up, it was kind of funny, but not really when you think of those who may believe them. The 2nd call was on Tuesday August 19th, at 8am. I was leaving for work, and when they said ur was about my computer, I said please take my name off the list. He called me a s**+thead, and when I told him to get a real job, he proceeded to tell me about his genitalia. I kept telling him he was a piece of c**p & he finally hung up. I can"t believe that this c**p still goes on. But please educate your friends & family about these idiots, it"s the only way to really stop them!!
