I called them back and a South Asian man answered. I asked if i could call him back via CRA’s 800# and he hung up. Disgusting to think that they will likely find suckers, and most will be seniors who still have trust in people who call them.

226 887 2682...it was obvious spam, they left a message saying they"re from the headquarters of the Canada Revenue Agency and to "call back as soon as possible and not disregard this message"

robot, and a scam I am sure, says needs lawyer to call about taxes and do not disregard this message. Note Canada Revenue Agency will never just call you, they will always send a written correspondence in a form of a letter. Scammers think were Dummies, unfortunately not all people know this and its tax time, so perfect time to expect CRA scams.
