I recently contacted a person who identified himself as Derrek on kijijii. He is selling Galaxy Note phones at 400 dollars each and this is one of his many ads he’s posted throughout Ontario and Quebec http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-phones-PDAs-ipods-Samsung-Galaxy-Note-Smartphone-W0QQAdIdZ356835144 . He asked me to send him the 400 dollars and would immediately ship the phone and provide the tracking number. I told him I would send a portion of the money and to ship it COD and I would pay for the balance when the phone got to my local post office. I send an email money transfer from the CIBC bank for 100 dollars to the email address he provided me jc_phones@hotmail.ca and he accepted the transfer. I did not receive any tracking information and when I tried to contact him on the number provided on his Kijijii ad (226)-348-0173, he simply hangs up and/or it goes to a voicemail which is completely full (I’m guessing other people who have been scammed). I’ve reported this to Kijijii.

this same guy (same phone number) - provided photo ID and photos of himself - identifying himself as Jeremy Freeman...

same c**p - stole my money - he did ask for an email money transfer which MUST be deposited into a bank account via online banking - so...when the police look into it...they should be able to trace back whose bank account cashed the transfer....
