CRA Scam automated voice recording. Take it from me, CRA do not call you if you owe money. The mail you letters. If you don’t respond in time. They garnish your wages. (I work in payroll and see it all the time) and if you don’t work CRA eventually freeze your bank assets and just take the money. They do not do anything like this over a phone call and can not arrest you.

To the above poster. It"s good to know they ignore illegal action. These calls I get a ridiculous. I have been getting calls since Dec 28th looking for someone I don"t know. They number they have is mine and I have told them to stop calling. Since then the calls have been getting more and more aggressive. I have blocked many of their numbers, but others seem to keep popping up. I don"t know what else to do from here.

he knew my name and my street adress,he was calling to tell me of a reduced rate of interest on my visa account and he was sending me all the proper paper work in the mail.he didn"t have my p.o.box number, i questioed him about that ,he said not to worry the papers would be mailed to me , he asked me personel questios about my personal life like am i simgle or married ishould of clued in right then but didn"t he then proceeded to ratlle off a account number very close to mine then asked to verify if this was the right number ,like a fool i crrected him with the right number, there was background noise marking it very hard to hear . after thinking for a bit i finally realized that i had become a victim of credit card fraud, i instantly phoned visa to report the scam and cancel my credit card . i am a senior citizen and still believe that people are honest. to mark the scammer how low in life do you have to ,remember this what goes around comes around you will get your waterloo some will do justice on you.
