Got two messages today (home and business #) from Officer Jason Clark of the CRA, Crime Investigation Division, Badge #16108 about a very urgent matter. And that if he did not hear from me or my lawyer, all he could say was wish me good luck. Called from 613-707-7844. These calls are SCAMS - these guys are getting smart!! Now identify themselves as "Officer", "Badge #", etc., to sound legitimate. These people are dangerous. Do not respond or give out any personal information. Contact the Police, RCMP or CRTC to report these calls. Show extreme caution and warn anyone you can think of about these scams - anyone is vulnerable. Show no fear if you answer the phone - tell them you will report them to the police.
