Not sure what the actual scam is, but I received a robo call from "Amazon" informing me that an i-Phone 11 was ordered on my Amazon account and being shipped to Birmingham, Alabama. If I ordered the phone, the order would go through. If I didn't order the phone, I was to call Amazon Billing to resolve the issue. Naturally, I didn't order an i-Phone 11, and when I called this Amazon number (844) 895-0064, whoever answered the phone didn't say anything. What I did hear was what sounded like a telephone call "boiler room" and it sounded like other people talking on their phones. Since I got no greeting from whoever answered the phone, I hung up and contacted Amazon. On the Amazon site, you can provide them a phone number and they call you back immediately. The woman at Amazon informed me she didn't see any i-Phone 11 order on my account and that this all sounded like a scam to her. I provided her with the phone number the robo call initiated from (760) 641-1472, as well as the (844) 895-0064 and she said she would refer it to her investigation department.
