Same as others are reporting: a bad AI voice said it was CRA and I was being charged "with tax fraud or tax evasion", to call back that number or a warrant would be issued for my arrest.
Any legitimate govt call would include the name of the person the call is intended for (among other clear indicators that this is a scam).
Might be a good idea to make sure elderly relatives know that the CRA doesn"t leave messages like this.

A very assertive and rude man called me and said the police were coming to arrest me today because I owed money (under 7,000.00). I asked to speak to his supervisor and he said he was. i just want to warn people about this number. we received a call about 2 hours ago and the man was looking for grandma. grandma was hard of hearing so she uses the speaker a lot more than the handset, so we heard what the man said. he said he was officer Michaels and that her grandson is in the hospital right now after he met an accident in Mexico. it got my attention because I was the only grandson she has. so grandma asked if he meant Derrick ****** (who was me) and the officer confirmed. Grandma was puzzled, she didn"t know about scams like that and had me talk to the man instead. i told officer Michaels that I am the man he"s calling for and we"re reporting him to the police. the man laughed and then he hung up. see how confident this scammer is. he might be using a disposable phone or spoofed the number so he"s not traced. beware! this is the phone number he used.

I did call back on another line and said I had an alarming message and he asked my name.
