I also received a call from this number this afternoon. The man on the phone spoke in Hindi and claimed that he was from the CRA and we owe comments,968.00 for unpaid taxes or we will be thrown in jail for 3 months, sent back to India in 6 weeks unless we pay ,000.00 immediately. We knew this was a scam so we laughed and hung up.

Called asking for my husband. Said he is part of CRA and that my husband owes money. Funny enough we JUST got off the phone with the ACTUAL CRA, so there is no reason they would be calling us again to get payment.
We have had one friend get the same phone call about a week ago, and my mother in law about 2 weeks ago. SCAM SCAM SCAM. Tell them to beat it.

This number called my house yestereday, He stated that he was calling from CRA wanting to talk to my husband. He said that CRA has a case against me due to unpaid taxes. He insisted that I give my husbands cell number to him and he would like to discuss this with him personally. When I refused to do so, he tried to convince me that he is definitely CRA and he is not trying to sell anything.

This guy pretended to me mr Denise Wison. And said that he wants to speak with my husband and if my hubby is not available I can take responsibility on behalf of him. He gave his batch number and file number also. He said my husband has tax owing to CRA since 2008 and it it now accrued and if he don"t pay it today he will be take. To the court. Told him to take us to court. At the end I told him that I work for Cra and there is no such method like his. He got hesitant and I told him to take our number from his calling list and hung up on him...
