identified self as Tax SOS, (a legitimate tax prep firm in Thornhill, ON.), said they were updating contact info, transferred to a male who said my business name, then phone beeped and line went dead.

Asked for Owner, he was not in. Wanted his cell number but did not give to him. Said that he was from a Electrical Company and wanted to talk to the owner about the wiring of our building? This is a new building so this was just a hoax.

They have called multiple times asking to verify my work address. I"m then put on hold and transfered to someone else. Once that person answers they ask for my name to verify that I"m an employee of the business and I have refused to give them my name and its at that point that the person hangs up on me. They couldn"t seem more like a scam if they were wearing a t-shirt advertising the fact.

They call our business every day. Make random BS about who they are and how they have to check our mailing address. They immediately say you will be transferred to the next available agent. A few moments later you will hear a beep and it will hang up. Rinse/Repeat. Clearly a way to get your mailing address for their spamming methods.

They called my place of business and requested to confirm our mailing address. I asked several times what company they represented as it was unclear who they were and finally asked why they needed to confirm our shipping address. The lady said to send us a brochure and other information and am I familiar with what she was talking about. I replied "no" and she simply apologized and hung up. Not sure who these guys are....but I"m thinking spammers...
